Mushroom Omelet Recipe

Mushroom omelet is one of the simple international dishes suitable for breakfast or snacks. This dish combines mushrooms, eggs, spices, and vegetables.



Ingredients for four people

mushroom500 g

egg4

Red bell pepper1

medium onion2

Thyme powder1 tsp

Salt1.5 tsp

Turmeric powder1 tsp

Black pepper powder1 tsp

Sliced gouda cheese (optional)2

olive oil4 tbsp

fresh chive30 g

paprika powder1 tsp

Mushroom Omelet Instructions



Step 1

Peel and finely chop the onion, heat a pan and add a spoonful of olive oil. Add chopped onion and sauté for 3 minutes.



Step 2

Cut the bell pepper into strips, add to the pan, and then sauté for 5 minutes. Chop the mushrooms into slices and add them.



Step 3

sauté the mushrooms for 7 to 10 minutes until their water evaporates completely. Take the ingredients from the pan and set them aside.



Step 4

Put the eggs in a bowl, add salt, black pepper powder, paprika powder, turmeric powder, and thyme powder, and mix with a fork until the egg is smooth.



Step 5

Heat a large pan and add the remaining olive oil. After the oil is heated, pour the eggs into the pan. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes for the egg to cook.



Step 6

Turn the egg over and cook the other side for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour the combination of onion, bell pepper, and mushroom on one side of the egg and put Sliced gouda cheese on them.



Step 7

Turn the cooked egg over the ingredients and wait for 2 to 3 minutes until the Gouda cheese melts. Pour the omelet into the dish you want.



Step 8

Finely chop the fresh chives and put them on the omelet. If you want, you can also Pour a little paprika on it for decoration.
